4K - $41K a year 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago The Housing and Workforce Solutions (HWS) Department is seeking to fill a Community Services Assistant to support the Community Action Partnership (CAP) Program located in Riverside.
The incumbent will be responsible for determining eligibility for utility and rental assistance through countywide programs, track and log appropriate information, provide basic information and educational materials of departmental and program services, and help the community, clients and/or the public to understand policies and procedures.
The candidate will also be responsible for Outreach Events throughout Riverside County.
A County vehicle will be provided.
The most competitive candidate will have Eligibility Case management experience and proven ability to work with partners and volunteers from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.
As well as experience in Customer Service, Microsoft Suite (Publisher/Excel), and Adobe are preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
