Established in 1998 by Cheryl Everitt, O.D., 20/20 Vision Associates Optometry is a multi-doctor private practice that offers a large facility designed for continuous growth and expansion. The practice is committed to providing patients in the Inland Empire with the best eye care experience through full-scope optometry. The team of experts offers general optometric care, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, medical management of glaucoma, sports vision, vision training, low vision, neuro-rehabilitation vision training, headache, and digital vision syndrome treatment with Nurolenses. 20/20 Vision Associates Optometry conveniently borders the 91 Freeway, easily accessible for commuters traveling from major metropolitan areas.

This modern practice is a preventative and technology-driven eye care center and utilizes the latest diagnostic techniques and products to provide the best vision possible. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology that includes:
retinal photography (Clarus), Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, Cirrhus OCT with anterior segment imaging, iTerminal 2, FDTs, Marco digital refracting systems, Topcon topographer, Senaptec, RightEye, Neurolens measuring device, and a macular pigment optical densitometer. About the Associate Optometrist Position

20/20 Vision Associates Optometry is looking for a compassionate Associate Optometrist who has excellent communication skills with patients of all ages, a passionate forever learner, and a team player who enjoys practicing optometry to its fullest. As the newest member of the team, you'll provider general optometric care, diabetic eye examinations, ROTC examinations, glaucoma management, soft contact lens fittings, scleral contact lens fitting, and specialty clinic work when needed. Highly-trained Optometric Assistants will prepare and pre-test patients utilizing one of three pre-testing stations. You'll work between two dedicated exam rooms and care for up to 15 patients daily. The position will start part-time 24 hours a week, working on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and quickly ramp up to a full-time position.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from the best in the industry, including practice management through participation and mentoring in team and planning meetings. The practice is currently developing vision training and sports vision training clinics and plans to expand its newest clinic that offers low vision services. 20/20 Vision Associates Optometry serves as the fourth-year rotation for the Marshall B. Ketchum University.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong desire to learn and grow with the practice. Additionally, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications include:

Optometry license in the state of California

Preferred qualifications include:

Spanish fluency or the ability to perform exams in Spanish
