The Facilities Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and overseeing the daily maintenance duties of the facilities division throughout Riverside County; this position will be located in Riverside, CA.
We are seeking an ambitious leader that possesses either (1) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public, Business or Facilities Management or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in a management or supervisory position with a public or private sector Construction, Program or Facilities Management entity, Federal or State Court or an equivalent position or (2) a High School diploma or GED with four (4) years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions AND four (4) years of supervisory experience.
This candidate will also have excellent time/project management skills, ability to maintain working relationships with all levels of court staff, vendors, etc.
and familiarity with OSHA, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) or Hazardous Materials handling and mitigation.

MEDICAL FLEXIBLE BENEFIT PROGRAMThe Court contributes an amount each month, which is determined by the type of enrollment selected, on behalf of each regular employee in a paid status, who is enrolled in one of the medical and hospital plans provided by the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside.
Flexible Benefit contributions shall be reduced on a pro-rated basis for an employee working less than full time.
VISION PLANAs a member of the Management Support group the Court pays for vision, up to full family coverage.
DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLANThe Court contributes $50.
00 per pay period to a 401A plan.
There are two 457 voluntary enrollment plans available.
ANNUAL LEAVEEmployees in this job class accrue annual leave; pro-rated if less than full time.
SHORT TERM / LONG TERM DISABILITYThe Court offers short-term disability/long term disability insurance.
LIFE INSURANCEThe Court, on behalf of the employee, pays a basic term life insurance and a basic Spouse/Dependent Life Insurance policy, if applicable.
RETIREMENTParticipation in Public Employee's Retirement System (PERS).
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) EAP is a benefit provided by Superior Court of California, County of Riverside for all employees.
HOLIDAYSGenerally thirteen days per year.
Employees are entitled to eight (8) hours of holiday pay for each court recognized holiday.
