The Operations Manager will be directly overseeing daily janitorial operations, customer satisfaction, account retention and strong employee relations.
Specific responsibilities include work scheduling of personnel, establishing work standards, conducting site evaluations, inventory/equipment usage, problem solving, orientation/training and support personnel, safety compliance, customer relations, and special project work as requested.
Requirements:

years of experience ? Bilingual Spanish required ? Experience managing and growing a team ? Experience coordinating and scheduling cleaning staff in their daily duties ? Effective management to ensure safe quality cleaning within all facilities Responsibilities & Tasks:
? Regular site visits, organized by priority of quality needs and highest to lowest margins from budget ? Reviewing standards of cleanliness to establish and implement ways to improve and meet the evolving needs of the facility ? Plan and schedule special event cleaning as required for sites ? Support recruitment and schedule training accordingly ? Schedule and provide new training to staff in relation to expected standards and quality of general cleaning ? Follow Health and Safety requirements , particularly in the operation of equipment, documenting safe systems of work for use throughout the facility by all cleaning staff ? Set and monitor appropriate performance objectives and standards ? Monitor working time and ensure that overtime and casual work timesheets are completed correctly, meeting payroll deadlines ? Monitor and manage staff absence and turnover ensuring flexible coverage can be arranged in short notice and promotion good staff attendance at all times through appropriate absence management techniques including home visits, return to work meetings and appropriate interviewing with investigation of absence issues ? Maintains supplies of cleaning materials and equipment keeping check of what will be required and placing orders to maintain stock levels ? Ensure staff maintain equipment that is clean and fit for purpose ? Understand the needs of the facility and build relationships with the facility personnel including facility/property manager, maintenance staff, admin staff ? Maintain awareness of and work within budgets for labor and equipment ? Review and approve all work tickets ? Quality Assurance Job Type:
