02 per hour We are searching for an experienced Driver Coordinator (Full-time) for our Riverside Distribution Center located at 2360 Cottonwood Avenue, Riverside, California, 92508.
This is an onsite position.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Driver Coordinator (Full-Time) position reports to the Transportation Operations Supervisor, and coordinates store deliveries and vendor pick-ups.
Dispatches drivers on shift from Distribution Center to stores, shipments between divisions and vendor freight to Distribution Center within budget.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Plans and dispatches deliveries from the multiple distribution centers to the stores using routing software, emails, and phone.
Tracks & monitors on-time on all deliveries to the stores and communicate any delays.
Provides technical support for mobile software installation on iPhone & Android devices.
Provides technical support for mobile route pull-ups Participates in special projects, cost evaluation Works hand in hand with third-party carriers and warehouse.
Provides reports as requested.
Processes invoices Candidates must possess the following skills:
Must have general PC knowledge (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word) Must have general smart phone knowledge (Android/iPhone) Must be able to work in a cold / refrigerated environment Must have flexibility with scheduling & availability to cover staffing gaps such as vacations and days off.
Required
Qualifications:
One to three years related experience and a working knowledge of State/ Federal Department of Transportation rules and regulations is required.
Must work independently with demonstrate good organizational skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of dispatch and distribution operations desirable.
Retail Management Certificate is desirable.
