Incumbents will be responsible for telephonic case management, financial and residential eligibility determination, annual case renewal, authorization, and denial of medical services, services referrals, record keeping and updating, and communicating with clients as well as medical professionals.
The objective of the California Children's Technician II is to improve the health outcomes for children and youth with special health care needs by providing care coordination and case management services.
The most competitive candidates will possess a high school degree, medical or clinical background, excellent computer and case management skills, Spanish listening/speaking skills, and work well with families and medical/clinical professionals.
