Roles & Responsibilities Create and manage daily maintenance budget including operating expenditures, capital expenditures, labor expenses for the maintenance department Supervise the full-time maintenance staff, and manage work load for maximum efficiency Plan the major repairs for the attractions and buildings Maintain facility in compliance with OSHA, CAL OSHA, and all other pertinent and applicable regulatory guidelines Train all necessary employees in their specific job functions, and maintain the training log for expiring certification Ensure all standard operating procedures are following for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety including daily, weekly, and monthly documentation Oversee all major new constructions projects using working knowledge of City of Riverside guidelines/restrictions Complete and maintain all daily safety checks for all attractions and all buildings Facilitate annual safety inspections with State of California Department of Industrial Relations:
Division of Occupational Safety and Health, and take any corrective actions necessary Act of liaison with all contractors/vendors for the maintenance department Oversee Halloween constructions and operation Participate in the Maintenance and Park Duty Manager rotation for the park during the operating season Requirements Education:

Communication - High develop interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a wide range of diverse personnel Leadership - Inspire others to achieve results, establish credibility throughout the organization and maintain a visible leadership role in appropriate industry, community, and business organizations as necessary Problem Solving/Analysis - Define problems, research and collect data, draw valid conclusions and execute remedial strategies in a timely manner Project Management:
Understand and manage projects from concept to completion.

Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience with 3-5 years in a supervisory role in a Theme/Aquatic/Recreational facility managing ride and facility maintenance and water treatment operations.
