Duties The primary purpose of this position is:
As the Senior Enlisted Air Reserve Technician (ART), to administer and carry out all matters pertinent to military personnel programs, provide technical guidance and assistance to the Numbered Air Force (NAF) Commander and senior leadership, leadership staff at subordinate wings, groups, and squadrons and unit members within the NAFAdditionally, incumbent provides training to other reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth hereinDuties:

Provides NAF CSS Director, NAF staff, and subordinate Wing/Unit personnel advice, assistance, and direction on all military personnel functions pertinent to specific responsibilities within the NAF2:

Manages the administrative support functions of the unitManages the Military Personnel Relocation programs for NAF unit members5:

Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systemsExamples of specialized experience includes Managing special projects which cross organizational lines and which require substantial knowledge of the principles and procedures used in the collection of data and analysis of that data; Acting as a technical expert and providing guidance on such programs as officer and enlisted promotions, performance reports, reenlistments, service extensions, ID card eligibility, quality force programs and casualties; Compiling and analyzing data to accurately identify trends, deficiencies, and accomplishments; and Advising commanders, key managers, and supervisors on the full range of military human resources management programsNOTE:

1This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) enlisted positionThe incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirementsThe incumbent's regular assignments are ART duties, however, the incumbent may also be assigned non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilitiesWork schedules will be so aligned to allow the individual to function fully on unit training assembly (UTA) weekends2Position requires the incumbent to obtain and retain a SECRET security clearance as designated by security access requirement (SAR) code3The incumbent may be required to fly in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments (TDY)4May be required to work overtime to meet special workload demandsOBLIGATED STATEMENT:
