Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Rail/Transit Designer, we'll count on you to:
Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project ManagerOversee the work of EITs and Junior Project EngineersPrepare detailed engineering designs for rail projects, including track design, corridor modeling, site grading, roadway design, and utility design.
Take responsibility for project involvement, ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phasePerform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringDemonstrated hands-on experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads/InRail, Civil3DMust be able to work both independently and in a team settingMS Office software experienceExcellent oral and written communication and project management skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree related to civil engineeringOpenRoads/OpenRail experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.

The expected compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $114,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
