This position is within Aspects Interaction Enablement Services - Oracle practice. As a Business Systems Analyst, Aspect will pay up to $75 per hour contract or up to $90K salary, depending on experience. This position is located in Riverside, CA.

Job Description:
The Senior IT Business Systems Analysts role is to provide an interface between the client business community and client IT organizations to understand business drivers and communicate these requirements to deliver business applications solutions as required. Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides practical application expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; coordinates with business to plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Will provide consultation to business users in maximizing value of automated systems. Will lead cross-functional JAD sessions. Works closely with colleagues to identify user's business requirements. Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements. Collaborates with business users to document business requirements and works with technical staff for system development. Acts as the conduit between a user group and an IT development team.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties include:
Requirements definitions
o Review each districts as is and to be time and attendance processes
o Identify detailed UI and business process workflow requirements
?Unique district requirements
?Common requirements across districts
Prepare and present UI mockups/prototypes (working with developers)
Lead and facilitate Joint Application Design sessions
o Work with 5 identified districts
o Present UI and business process workflow prototypes
o Facilitate discussions and gather feedback
o Revise prototypes and conduct follow up JAD sessions
Document application and data designs
Qualifications:
Broad knowledge in Web technology solutions in support of traditional business use model. Extensive hands on experience working with Web technologies and web applications and design strategies.
Payroll and HR experience is a must and rquired
Data modeling experience highly desired
Demonstrated competency in designing Web technology solutions for business requirements and production support.
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate complex information to business functional staff and senior executive management.
Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanor to maintain and enhance relationships.
Independently handles complex aspects of position, such as leading cross functional teams on IT delivered projects and enhancements.
Ability to use professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. Deliver assignments without considerable direction from direct management.
Ability to develop resolutions to complex problems where analyses of situations or data require an in-depth evaluation of various factors and the frequent use of creativity.
Ability to exercise and demonstrate good judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting appropriate methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of Web application day to day production support and project /enhancement delivery experience.
8+ years experience in Information Technology in a business facing role.
8+ years experience in a Business Analyst role and/or Project Management for business systems projects.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Business Certification in relevant field a plus.
Ability to pass a background check required.
Travel may be required to various client sites within a local area
Excellent practical use of the Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio.
Experience working in the payroll and HR industry a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
