We are searching for a Plant Manager to lead, coach and guide the teams continued success. We are looking for candidates with experience managing a fast paced production machining operation. Interested candidates will need strong planning, scheduling, production control, manufacturing operations, problem solving, follow up and leadership skills. Knowledge of production machining, cutting tool applications and basic machine tool problem solving skills is needed. Previous experience managing a production screw machine, CNC turning, swiss CNC turning, grinding, secondary operation and/or in metal finishing is required. The Plant Manager is part of the core management team setting the goals, strategies and direction of the corporation. Strong planning skills within a high mix and machine tool change over production machining environment is a must. The ideal candidate will have a track recording of working through changing customer requirements and finding solutions to achieve customer satisfaction. We are looking for a creative Plant Manager to bring new ideas and drive continuous improvements. Interested candidates will need direct experience in a high mix, high change over, environment or a job shop or contract machining operation due to wide variety of high precision products. Past experience monitoring production metrics and data to ensure quality and delivery is a must. The Plant Manager will track and analyze efficiencies, downtime, set up times, quality, labor and delivery. Strong leadership skills and experience hiring, training, reviewing, mentoring, promoting and disciplining employees is also needed.
Candidates who have multiple spindle screw machine and/or CNC turning are preferred. Our client will provide a relocation assistance package helping new associate to get settled into their area.
MUST HAVE: a minimum of 8 years of exprience leading a production machining environment and changing customer requirements. Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, coordination of departments, new product launches, production control, systems and production machining is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in a CNC turning, swiss CNC turning or automatic screw machine operation. We will consider Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager and /or Manufacturing Supervisor will experience working in a larger production machining operation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
