Improving the reliability and accuracy of PLC and PC based automation systems;
Troubleshooting and performing basic design of PLC logic, operator interface terminal, energy management systems and electrical installs;
Performing Preventive Maintenance for controls and systematize electrical parts and control parts inventory;
Coordinating with vendors for the installation of electrical or controls;
Recordkeeping on work orders, timesheets, parts requests, etc.;
Maintaining parts procedure and inventory control.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5
years as a controls technician;
PLC skills: RS Logix 500/50000, writing logic, Relay Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagram Editor, functional understanding of configuring closed loop control utilizing PIDE in FBD Editor;
Fieldbus Network skills: Controlnet, Devicenet, Ethernet, Profibus, Universal Remote Network, Sercos Interface, Modbus;
Configuring instrumentation, industrial automation electrical circuits, NEC, electrical schematics, oscilloscope, Building Management Systems HVAC; electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems; robotics, 3 phase distribution, transmission and equipment; safe grounding practices; MCC;
Ability to work any shift and/or weekends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
