### Description
Ethnic Studies program is seeking to fill a Lecturer position for the 2014-2015 academic year. Applicants may apply for Spring Quarter 2015 (Quarter begins March 30th; exams end June 12th)
ETST 176 - Geographies of Pain: Black Women, Trauma, and Survival.
Explores the relationship between gender and violence. Illustrates ways in which social problems--from domestic violence to family structure--function not simply as instances of dysfunction but more broadly as complex structural outcomes related to the construction of gender and race in the historical violence of the nation-state. Examines both the integral operation of violence in the creation of blackness and the creative ways of responding to it that have sustained practices of survival. Review of applications will begin on January 9, 2015.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
