Summary:
Responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team. Responsible for scheduling sales meetings, handling incoming phone calls to the Sales Department.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Enter and Finalize quotes into Oracle for customers and Sales Representative.
Assists the Sales Manager in generating leads.
Recommends products to customers based on customers needs and interests.
Responsible for handling incoming phone calls and walk-ins requesting sales information.
Assists the sales manager in the preparation of sales reports and competitive market analyses.
Updates contact lists of existing and prospective customers.
Any other duty, task or responsibility as assigned
Decision-Making Level and Scope - Decisions generally affect own job or specific functional area.
Independence of Action - Work is closely monitored by supervisor/manager. Detailed instructions and procedures are generally provided.
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be detail oriented, excellent communicator, highly organized and able to follow detailed instructions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic calculations - add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Technology Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Capable of pulling together professional sales presentations.
Knowledgeable of ERP applications (preferably Oracle).
Additional Skills:
Requires self-management and project management ability.
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Special requirements of Job:
Need to work overtime and weekends as required
