Building Estimator
Preparation of thorough, accurate and timely estimates for Federal/Public Work Projects, including the preparation of bid documents and the development of clear written proposals and correspondence
Plan and monitor the best allocation of resources, within a defined budget, to meet project expectations
Review plans and specification and ensure thorough and accurate take-offs
Contact sub-contractors, suppliers and specialty services for quotes
Works with Marketing, Project Managers, Operations and Accounting as needed in the preparation and final evaluation of bids
Qualifications:
Ability to estimate large projects sizes from $100k-25M

years exp as an estimator working on building projects
Federal Government and/or Public Works project estimating exp required
Comprehensive Design-Build experience
GMP/CM at-risk experience a greatly desired
HARD BID Estimating and Negotiating Bid Experience
Exc communication skills required
Knowledge of HCSS Heavy BId (or similar estimating software) a plus
