The Position
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing preventative, curative, and rehabilitative medical care to patients and determine appropriate regimen of health care for each patient's care. Maintaining supervision of case management of Community Health Systems, Inc. patient's including but not limited to:
referral to appropriate specialists, ancillary services, arranging home care and hospital care if needed, call backs to pharmacies and patients as needed.
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse with a CA RN license and;
Two to four years of experience in the nursing field
Experience as a Nurse Practitioner required
American Nursing Credentialing Corporation (ANCC) Certification or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) required
Fluency in Spanish preferred
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the Nursing field
Must have a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate
CPR certification required
Must be current with and maintain medical education requirements for licensure
Candidates without an application WILL NOT be considered
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
