Position Information
Coordinates the GradQuant program and space ensuring that programming and activities meet the needs of Graduate students and are within the scope of the directors' vision. Supervises graduate student and professional staff, maintain records, and collaborates with other departments. Provides support to the GradSuccess team.

Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required PhD Preferred

Experience Requirement Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Required
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge of how learning skills issues apply to a research institution.
Knowledge of learning theories and training models.
Multicultural competencies; knowledge and experience working and interacting effectively with diverse groups of staff, faculty, and student populations.
Skills in judgment and decision-making.
Develops knowledge of specific learning theory, learning styles, affective issues, academic issues, and socio-cultural issues in applying academic support for students.
Experience providing qualitative and quantitative assessment of academic programs.
Knowledge of strategies in critical thinking, reading, writing, note taking, test taking, time management, and goal setting.
Oral and written communication skills; interpersonal and presentation skills.
Develops knowledge of current and theoretical models that influence the application and delivery of academic services (e.g., discipline specific; student-population specific).
Ability to communicate information in small and large group settings.
Problem solving skills.
Proficient computer skills including databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and web-based systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency utilizing data analytic software such as R, SPSS, SAS, etc.
Background in computer programming, such as C++, HTML, Python, Java, etc.
Background in statistics, including but not limited to correlational designs, hypothesis testing, and ANOVA.
Background in qualitative methods.
Past experience in academic counseling or teaching.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
